My cognitive skills have been developing as quickly as my physical abilities the last two weeks! I really enjoy the B-day present from my aunt Lindsay! It is just so darn fun!

Also this week I got to visit my Dad's aunt and uncle from North Prairie and had pasties and marshmallow squares...yummy! My dad did not take any pictures but I had a really good time!

Though a little slower than earlier...this is what I am capable of doing all by myself! I really made progress this 12th month!

I still prefer to crawl, but I go pretty fast when I do that and a LOT more garbling. For example I say Dada of course, but now mama, some papa, and nana...barbecue, why, ba-bye, woof(imitation dog bark). I also learned how to open the cabinet doors today!

Mommy went a little picture crazy today. Here are some of me in my new outfit (well, new to me!) I got from cousin Abbi who is visiting this past week.

I thought for some reason whenever mommy got the camera out I should "look up" and show off. I think I am so funny some times. Actually, I'm not sure what is funny about it, but mom still laughs every time I do it.

See, keep looking up! I like to show off for the camera!

Oh, and if you were wondering how I got my owie, grandma and grandpa's dog Maggie took a little nip at me when I got a bit too close last week! I still am not afraid of dogs though! But they sure are afraid of me!

Melanie got to visit her adorable 2 month old 2nd cousin (Daddy's Cousin's baby) this past weekend and boy was she a cutie! I (Melanie) didn't pay much attention to her honestly, but I did like her pacifier!
