While Momma was at work, I made some good strides in my physical prowess!
Though not video recorded...I went from belly (crawling backwards) to sitting, all by myself unassisted for the first time!

...And also, Dad's convinced this is my first real day of crawling successfully forward!

I attended my very first parade today in Middleton for the Good Neighbor Festival. I am outside of Daddy's uncle Steve's house. I had a great time and I loved watching all the things in the parade. I got so tuckered out though that by the end I fell asleep in mommy's arms.

Melanie had a play date with buddy Marissa this past weekend. Just to show you how they have changed, this was their first meeting together back in Feb. 2009. Melanie was only 5 days old and Marissa was 8 weeks old.

And look at them now!

Melanie is trying to keep up with Marissa, but Melanie can only scoot backwards!

Looks like Melanie likes Marissa's mommy's ring.

Aug. 29th, 2009

This is the first time we have let Pepper lick her face. She likes it at first, then she doesn't seem too sure. It killed me to let him do this! Disgusting!

The end of this video shows a clear "time for a nap" sign. We call it the "nose dive"
