This is the new thing I learned how to do this weekend. I do it all the time now.

I had my first big "road" trip this past week. Mommy, Grandma and Grandpa Thering and I went to St. Paul, MN to visit Aunt Katie and Uncle Gene'o. I drove for 4 hours in the car there and back and was a very good girl! I do like to use my voice now though so I "talked" or "screamed" I should say a lot of the trip. Here are some shots from the trip.

We went shopping for a wedding dress for Aunt Katie. She got one and she looks so pretty in it! But I promised I wouldn't show any pictures yet (you'll have to wait until December) so here is one with just Grandma and me in the dressing room.

After dress shopping we went to target to get supper. This is my first time actually sitting in the cart.

I wasn't real sure, so I was only in it for a few minutes, then mommy had to hold me.

here is me on the way home. This is right after my nice long 2 hour nap!

6 Months Old!

I now weigh 14 lb 7 oz (22%) and I am 24.5" (13%). At 4 months I was 12 lb 11 oz and 23.5" so still growing a way!

New things I can do:

1) Sit up with someone near me, just in case I fall forward!

2) Just starting to eat "solids". I've had Baby rice and Squash. Eating the rice good now after a week, not sure on the squash yet, but I've only had that twice.

3) Roll over in both directions easily. I mostly roll over from my back to my belly and then I stay there. I love it on my belly.

4) Get up on all 4's and try to crawl. I mostly rock back and forth. I LOVE to do this and I do it all the time when I am on my belly.

5) Stick out my tongue 24/7
